Announcements.

4/6. I will have the following office hours prior to exam 2: Friday April 8, from 10-12; Monday April 11, from 2-3; and Tuesday April 12, from 4-6.

2/15. The midterm will be on Friday February 25th and will cover the material from lecture up through section 2.4 (we will not include section 2.5 on the midterm). The midterm will take place during lecture. You will be allowed on 8x11 sheet of notes to assist you for the exam. there will be no other notes or calculators allowed.

I will be posting a 'practice midterm' this afternoon. It will be longer than the actual midterm but that is just to give you extra practice. Solutions will be posted closer to the exam time.

If you intend on handing in the extra credit discussed in lecture, that must be in before the exam. Remember to subject your email to me with "math 32" and "extra credit" somewhere in there (this will ensure I can locate them all in my inbox).

I will be adding in extra office hours the week of the exam. In particular, I will have OH from 2-4 on Monday February 21 (it's a holiday so there's no class), Thursday February 24th from 4-5, and Friday February 25 from 10:30-11:30**. Please note the slight change on Friday!
