Math 32 - Precalculus -- [4 units]
Course Format: Three hours of lecture, two hours of discussion per week.
Prerequisites: Three years of high school mathematics, plus satisfactory score on one of the following: CEEB MAT test, math SAT, or UC/CSU diagnostic examination.
Description: Algebraic operations, real numbers, rectangular coordinates, graphs, equations and inequalities, functions, polynomials, rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, linear systems of equations, roots of polynomial equations.
