Berkeley Career Engagement uses Handshake as its recruiting platform for current students and alumni (5 years post-graduation). Handshake uses cutting edge technology to help students more easily connect with employers and source jobs, internships, event information, On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) opportunities, and more.

Berkeley Career Engagement First Destination Survey

“First Destination” is Berkeley Career Engagement’s annual survey that asks seniors about their post-graduation plans. The information collected includes a sampling of career fields, salaries, job titles, geographic locations, continuing education plans, and much more. You can break down information by major so that you can get ideas for your future.

Current students and recent alumni (24 months post-graduation) can schedule an appointment with a Berkeley Career Engagement career counselor via Handshake. In-person and virtual meetings are available. You can learn more about your options for an appointment and relevant policies on the website above.
