Congratulations to Undergraduate Math Major Jie Geng!
She has been selected to receive an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Alice T. Schafer Prize for Excellence in Mathematics competition.
The Schafer Prize is awarded annually by the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) to the most outstanding woman mathematics undergraduate in the United States, and receiving honorable mention is a significant honor.
