Title: Eigenvalue statistics for matrices with dynamically defined entries
Abstract: So far local eigenvalue statistics for ergodic Schrodinger-type matrices with pure point spectrum have been studied and proved only in case of random entries. In the talk I will describe and sketch a proof of the first deterministic result in this direction (joint with A. Avila) and discuss a conjecture on what the distribution is in the general ergodic situation.
