Title: Global Solutions for Dispersive Flows
Abstract:The long/time global dynamics of nonlinear dispersive waves are determined by the balance of linear dispersion on one hand, and nonlinear effects on the other hand. A recent conjecture aims to describe the global dynamics in a small data regime where the nonlinear effects take precedence. In this talk we will describe current work toward proving this conjecture, with an emphasis on nonlinear Schrodinger flows. This talk is based on joint work with Daniel Tataru.
