The 78th annual Putnam competition took place on December 2, 2017. Berkeley had an excellent year! Our team of Brian Burks, Jiannan Jiang, and Jonathan Xia placed 7th out of 464 teams, and several individuals were among the top scorers: Junhao Fan (top 25), Brian Burks and Jonathan Xia (top 100), Jiannan Jiang, Brian Liu, and Yuanning Zhang (top 200), among others.
