Title: Nonlinear Fokker-Planck equations and trend to equilibrium in
statistical mechanics

Abstract:
 We survey a few recent results on the H-theorem for nonlinear
Fokker-Planck equations and the existence of compact attractors  in $L^1$
for the solutions.
