Assignments and Quizzes
The text for this course is Goldstein, Lay, and Schneider, Calculus and
its Applications, 10th
edition. We will be covering chapters 7-12.
Each week there will be a homework assignment,
which will be collected in your
discussion section every Thursday. Homework
will not be graded, only checked
superficially, but quiz and exam material will
be closely related to the homework problems.
There will be quizzes in your discussion
section every other week.
It is very important to read the assigned
material before each lecture. Do not
fall behind.

Grading Policy
The grade for the
course will be computed according to the following proportions
- 10% homework
- 30% quizzes
- 20% midterm
- 40% final exam
Final Exam
The final exam will be on Friday, May 20th,
from 12:30 to 3:30 PM in Wheeler auditorium.
There is no alternate date for this
exam.
