Assignments and Quizzes

The text for this course is Goldstein, Lay, and Schneider, Calculus and its Applications, 10th edition. We will be covering chapters 7-12. Each week there will be a homework assignment, which will be collected in your discussion section every Thursday. Homework will not be graded, only checked superficially, but quiz and exam material will be closely related to the homework problems. There will be quizzes in your discussion section every other week. It is very important to read the assigned material before each lecture. Do not fall behind.

Grading Policy

The grade for the course will be computed according to the following proportions Makeup midterm exams will not be given; instead, the midterm score can be dropped and its grade replaced by an appropriate fraction of the final exam grade. A grade of more than 95% on the final recieves an A in the class. Make sure you can take the final when it is scheduled.

Final Exam

The final exam will be on Friday, May 20th, from 12:30 to 3:30 PM in Wheeler auditorium. There is no alternate date for this exam.
