These questions and answers grew out of my preparation and participation as a faculty panelist at the Fall 2025 MPS Launch Day. They are collected here as a resource for students beginning proof-based and upper-division mathematics courses.
Some reflections on how to use AI tools as a supplement for learning mathematics without replacing the process of developing your own understanding, proof-writing ability, and mathematical judgment. This note is especially intended for students in proof-based upper-division mathematics courses.
