The closest airports are Oakland (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO). BART takes 55minutes from SFO to Downtown Berkeley. BART and AirBART take 35minutes total from OAK. The UC Berkeley Campus is one block west of the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Here are links providing directions to UC Berkeley and information about public transportation. The Berkeley Visitor's Bureau also has a list of hotels. The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute web page has a helpful list of hotels. Many Berkeley hotels will give you a discount if you mention that you are coming for an event held at the university. |
