Petitioning to take the Differential Equations portion of Math 54 to fulfill Math 49?

Subject matter to be covered: homogeneous and nonhomogeneous linear differential equations, with an emphasis on constant coefficient systems and their normal form, Fourier series and their applications. Material will be drawn from textbook chapters, lectures and discussion sections of the last three weeks of the course.
  3. Required assignments: homeworks and quizzes of the last three weeks of the course; questions on the final involving differential equations.
