We will be reading Hall's Quantum Theory for Mathematicians, which you can download by clicking on that link or buy a physical copy from Springer (it is MyCopy-eligible for somewhat less).
Each week we select a random speaker a few hours before start of the meeting. The idea is to incentivize everyone to read the material as closely as in a seminar in which each participant presents only once every n weeks and so has less motivation in "off-weeks."
We will meet Fridays during the semester from 9:30 to 11:00 am PT in 939 Evans Hall. The first meeting is on August 26.
