I am a Morrey visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics, University of California, Berkeley, hosted by Prof. Lin Lin.
Before joining Berkeley, I received my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Madison under the direction of Qin Li.
Research interest:
I work on applied and computational mathematics, with a particular interest in numerical and stochastic analysis in diverse fields such as quantum computing, machine learning, and data science. A common thread of my research is attaining a deep mathematical understanding of existing algorithms and designing new ones.
