Prerequisites: Math. 53 and 54

Syllabus: Chapters 1-7 of the text.

Required Text: W. Rudin, Principles of Mathematical Analysis, 3rd Edition, McGraw-Hill

Grading: 25% homeworks, 25% the midterm, 50% the final

Homework: Homework is assigned below.  Homeworks assigned each week  are due on the Tuesday of the
following week. Three of the problems are graded. The lowest two scores are dropped.

Final exam:  Thursday December  11, 1230-330 pm,  170 BARROWS . Here is the  sample final.
