"Mathematics and Imaging"

I intend to discuss a number of mathematical problems that have originated in the study of "imaging questions". I also would like to show a number of instances where mathematics developed for its own sake turned out to provide the foundation to the formulation and solution of a number of imaging problems.

Some of my examples will be drawn from the work of A. Calderon, as a personal tribute.

Finally I would like to discuss certain recent technological advances and the effect they could have on new and old mathematical questions.
