Math 1A Fall 2021 MDTP Instructions

IMPORTANT: For students with additional test time accommodations, please contact essentials@math.berkeley.edu for assistance before beginning the assessment.

• Step 1: Go to the MDTP access login link: https://mdtpassessment.ucsd.edu/login
• Step 2: Enter your Test Code: 8S6C, click submit.
• Step 3: Enter your first, last name, and SID. We will use this information to confirm you have completed the diagnostic test, please enter information correctly.

  Consider reviewing the MDTP assessment navigation sheet before starting the assessment so you can become familiar with the portal.

• Step 4: Read the test instructions then click begin test. IMPORTANT: This is a timed assessment, you will have 3 hours to complete.
• Step 5: Complete the initial assessment.

The MDTP system will offer you a list of topics for review immediately after you complete the assessment. You should receive a detailed report with your score via email from essentials@math.berkeley.edu within a day or two after completing the assessment.
