This is the website for my sections, 305 and 308. Professor Haiman's course website, which contains lots of useful information, is here. Make sure you read it!
The purpose of section is to
Homework is due in section on Mondays (except the first assignment, which is due Wednesday Sept. 8th). I will return it to you by the following Monday. No late homework will be accepted. See the course website for assignments. I'll be grading your homework for completeness, not correctness, and it is only worth 4% of your grade, but it is very important that you do it! You won't learn the material if you don't do the exercises.
Email: I will be available by email to answer both administrative questions and questions about the material, and I will to respond to your emails as swiftly and accurately as I can. Keep in mind, though, that it's easier to talk about math in person than by email, so I will often ask you to come to office hours to discuss your question.

From time to time I'll be posting relevant materials here, including in-class worksheets and exercises with solutions. Check back, especially if you miss section.
