I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. My advisor is Jon Wilkening. My research interests are numerical analysis, partial differential equations and scientific computing, particularly, numerical micromagnetics.

I was DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) fellow during during 2015-2016 academic year at Applied Mathematics and Plasma Physics Group (T-5) at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and my mentor was Konstantin Lipnikov.

I was born in the USA, but grew up in Daegu, South Korea and went to Daegu Science High School. I did my undergraduate work at KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea.
