Welcome to my homepage!
I am a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley. I am being advised by Professor Javad Lavaei. My current research interests are nonconvex optimization, especially low-rank matrix optimization and optimization via simulation. I received my bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Peking University. I finished my undergraduate thesis under Professor Zaiwen Wen's advice. I have also worked in Professor Pingwen Zhangs’ and Wotao Yin's groups. My research is partially supported by the Two Sigma Ph.D. Fellowship.
I am from Hangzhou, a scenic city in southeast China. Outside of math, I enjoy a wide range of sports and am willing to try new things. I am a big fan of soccer and an amateur supporter of Hangzhou Greentown and Real Madrid.
