Course description

Midterm exam: Thursday, February 27, 2:10-3:30 (in class)

The exam will cover the material up to, and including, the material of the week of February 17-21 (see this page for details).

There will be an in-class review lecture on Tuesday, February 25.

The GSI will also give a review in the section meeting on Wednesday, February 26.

No quizzes on February 26 and March 4. Quizzes will resume on March 11.

The exam is closed-book. No materials, papers, books or calculators will be allowed during the exam.

The exam will consist of 8-10 problems. Most of the problems will be along the lines of the HW problems as well as these Review Problems (solutions have been posted on the solutions webpage, at the link below):

Ch. 10 Review: Concept Check 1-5, T-F 1-7, Exercises 1,3,5,8,9,11,13,17,22,23,25,29,31,32,33,37,38,41.

Ch. 12 Review: Concept Check 1-19, T-F 1-22, Exercises 1,4,5,9,10,16,17,18-23,25,27,29,31,34,37,38.

Ch. 13 Review: Concept Check 1-4, T-F 1-6, Exercises 1,3,6,9.

Ch. 14 Review: Concept Check 1-12, T-F 1-6,8, Exercises 1,3,4,5,9,10,13,15,17,19,20,25,26,27,31-34.

The final exam will be on Monday, May 11, 11:30-2:30 (Exam group 2)

There will be NO MAKE-UP EXAMS.
