David Keating: Arctic Curves for Lecture Hall Tableaux
Abstract
Lecture hall tableaux, which are fillings of Young diagrams subject to certain restrictions, were originally studied as a generalization of lecture hall partitions. In this talk we will derive arctic curves of bounded Lecture Hall Tableaux of a given shape. We describe how to view the tableaux as a collection of nonintersecting paths. We then use the tangent method to recover a parametrization of the arctic curves arising in the thermodynamic limit.
