This is a weekly seminar in number theory organized by Yunqing Tang, Sug Woo Shin, Martin Olsson, Tony Feng and Owen Barrett. It is funded by a RTG grant from the NSF and complements the Arithmetic Geometry and Number Theory Seminar on Mondays.
The seminar is scheduled at 3:30–5:00 on Wednesdays in 891 Evans. It consists of one 80-minute talk, with the first 30 minutes intended as a ‘prequel’ and the remaining 50 minutes consisting of a regular formal presentation about recent research results to a general audience in arithmetic geometry and number theory. Talks should be accessible and designed with a target audience of graduate students.
