Undergraduate Student Groups

MUSA: Math Undergraduate Student Association

We are an organization which strives to improve the overall quality of studying mathematics at UC Berkeley as an undergraduate, especially by advocating for issues that benefit the entire math community, not just the subset that attends our events. We hold a few events each week, including our flagship event, the Math Monday lecture series. Our office is in 938 Evans, where you can buy Berkeley Mathematics t-shirts and hoodies as well as cheap snacks. Our office and events are open to everyone, not just math majors, and we hope to see you around.

WIM: Womxn in Mathematics at Berkeley

Women in Mathematics at Berkeley (WIM) is an organization that serves to foster a community and provide a network amongst the undergraduate women in mathematics at Cal. WIMMERS hope to establish a long-lasting relationship with other Berkeley undergraduates, graduate students, and professors, while finding unity in their common love of math. We have weekly meetings on Tuesdays from 5-7pm in 1015 Evans, with activities ranging from study hours to talks from graduate students to game nights. We also do field trips to the Exploratorium in San Francisco and other math-related activities.
