Description: Basic topics: symplectic linear algebra, symplectic manifolds, Darboux theorem, cotangent bundles, variational problems and Legendre transform, hamiltonian systems, Lagrangian submanifolds, Poisson brackets, symmetry groups and momentum mappings, coadjoint orbits, Kahler manifolds.
