Description Elliptic curves. Algebraic curves, Riemann surfaces, and function fields. Singularities. Riemann-Roch theorem, Hurwitz's theorem, projective embeddings and the canonical curve. Zeta functions of curves over finite fields. Additional topics such as Jacobians or the Riemann hypothesis.
