Prerequisites: 214
Description: The first two thirds of the class will be on basics of Riemannian geometry, including: Riemannian metrics, Levi-Civita connection, geodesics and completeness, curvature, first and second variations of arc length and the second fundamental form. The last third of the class will be an introduction to comparison geometry.
