Prerequisites: 53 and 54.

Syllabus: The official course description lists the following topics: waves and diffusion, initial value problems for hyperbolic and parabolic equations, boundary value problems for elliptic equations, Green's functions, maximum principles, a priori bounds, Fourier transform. We will cover these topics and more.

Office Hours: Tuesday 2-3:30pm and Friday 1:30-3pm.

Grading: Grades will be based off of weekly homework assignments, two midterms, and the final exam.
