Prerequisites: Consent of instructor.

Syllabus: The course will provide an introduction to scattering theory with a special emphasis on the mathematical theory of scattering resonances. The topics will include: one dimensional scattering (basic formalism, applications to dS- and AdS-Schwarzschild black holes),  scattering by compactly supported potentials (scattering matrix, trace formulae, distribution of resonances, resonance expansions of waves), semiclassical scattering (basic estimates for non-trapping perturbations; analysis of some trapping cases). The emphasis will lie on investigating interesting dynamical phenomena in technically simplest settings.
