Prerequisites: 104 or equivalent and linear algebra.
Syllabus: Manifolds in n-dimensional Euclidean space and smooth maps, Sard's Theorem, classification of compact one-manifolds, transversality and intersection modulo 2.

Grading: 30% homework, 30% midterm exam, 40% final exam.
Homework: Homework will be assigned weekly. Late homework will not be accepted. The lowest two scores will be dropped.
