Two Model Problems: Tests of Method
As discussed above, two of the virtues of level set methods are
their ability to change topology and their ability to correctly
track the development of singularities (e.g. corners and cusps) in the
evolving interface. Here we present two somewhat unrealistic
examples to demonstrate these capabilities.
