Hyperbolicity in rich families of dynamical systems?

ABSTRACT


I will review some recent progress in the smooth ergodic theory of dynamical systems related to partial hyperbolicity and Lyapunov exponents. The main thrust of the talk will concern the possibility of proving that dyanmical systems in rich enough families have non-zero exponents.
