In Fall 2006, I was a GSI for Math 16B, the second semester of Analytic Geometry and Calculus.
In Summer 2006, I was teaching Math 16A, Analytic Geometry and Calculus.
In Spring 2006, I was a GSI for Professor Sethian's Math 54 (Linear Algebra, lower division) course.
In Fall 2005, I was a GSI for Professor Borcherd's Math 1A (Calculus, first course).

I play online on the Internet Chess Club under the handle "mathematician". I very much recommend the ICC for any serious chess-player (or one moving towards serious).
If you're in Berkeley looking for some friendly games, a group gets together to play some blitz chess at the I-house cafe most evenings.
I've played chess consistently since I was a young(er) lad, and I strongly believe that chess has a great influence on a child's development.
More than anything else, chess is a great way to express your "logical creativity". That's the same sort of creativity that helps you solve math problems.

I love to unicycle, as you should be able to tell. Locally, we play Unicycle Basketball and go on mountain unicycle rides. For more info, go here.

Despite the fact that it goes against my pure-math nature, sometimes I enjoy seeing math that can be applied to regular everyday life. The Renter's Problem is a beautiful example of that. It gives a constructive solution to a common problem.
