Dear Institute for Research in Social Behavior:

My waking hours, a small proportion of the total, are devoted to consciousness-raising efforts: Eating, backpacking, screwing both sexes of co-eds, collecting antique unwashed spittoons, and so forth. I feel that my participation in the Faculty Time-Use Study could not but depress the Providers of Money. Therefore, I hereby withdraw from the Probability Sample.
