Quizzes/Solutions
Midterm #1A: Monday,
October 23rd, 3:05-4:05
- I will start the exam at 3:05 sharp and let you go about 5 minutes late
- Practice Problems:
- Negating statements (here are the solutions)
- Simple statements about sets
- Proving statements involving the concepts of preimage, image, injections,
surjections, etc-- I cannot think of any problems I have not already done
in class or assigned for homework or put on a previous midterm or sample
midterm. So study these (odds are the exam problem will be one of them).
Midterm #1: Friday,
October 6th, 3:05-4:05
