Schroedinger cocycles appear in the study of the Schroedinger equation on the (discrete) line with a potential determined by an ergodic transformation. The random case has been studied extensively, but other types of dynamics are relevant as well. We will discuss some recent results in this area, jointly with M. Goldstein and J. Bourgain.
