Announcements

Mike Catlin will have a review session Tuesday, 7-9, in 105 Latimer.

My review session for the final will be Tuesday December 18, 5:00-7:00 PM in 56 Hildebrand.

I will hold office hours Monday 1:00-2:00 and Wednesday 11:00-12:00. I will stay longer if students have more questions.

Here is a full solution to the proof problem we worked on in my 1 PM section as well some additional proof questions. Although some theoretical questions will appear on the midterm be sure to be very comfortable with the more computational problems since they will also appear and are necessary to even begin tackling theoretical questions. For this I recommend reviewing quizzes and homeworks.

You are assumed to be familiar with the material on differential equations from Math 1B. In case you want to review it or if your calculus course didn't cover that material, it is covered in the first few sections of our Differential Equations book. Read the sections on linear homogenous equations, the method of undetermined coefficients, and variation of parameters.
