Convex Algebraic Geometry Seminar @ UC Berkeley
Spring 2010, Wednesday 1pm - 2pm
939 Evans Hall
Organizers: Philipp Rostalski, Bernd Sturmfels

Convex Algebraic Geometry studies convex sets in real algebraic geometry by combining ideas and mathematical tools from optimization, analysis, algebra and combinatorics. The aim of this seminar is to present new theoretical insights in this new and exciting area, but also to discuss new algorithms and software as well as novel applications in mathematics, engineering, and beyond.

Everyone is invited!
