Andres Rodriguez: Hopf Structures on Generalized Permutahedra.
Abstract
In the talk we will go over the necessary background to be able to define the Hopf monoid of generalized permutahedra. This includes an introduction to the notion of set species, Hopf monoid in set species, and some intuitive examples. We will discuss how set species are objects of type A by introducing the notion of species relative to hyperplanes, and we will discuss what "species" mean in other types.
