About me: I am a 5th year student at UC Berkeley. I passed my qualifying exam on May 26, 2009 and my adviser is Vaughan Jones. I am interested in the study of von Neumann algebras especially factors.

I graduated from the University of Rochester in 2007 with degrees in math and physics. Aside from mathematics, I play the trombone and enjoy playing pickup basketball games.

Beginning the spring of 2010 I, along with James Tener, am organizing the Student Subfactor Seminar.
