My research is in mathematical logic and set theory, mainly forcing, consistency results, and combinatorial set theory. In the Spring 2009 semester I am teaching Math 105, Second Course in Analysis, and Math 236, Metamathematics of Set Theory. Starting Fall 2009 I will be a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of North Texas. Before coming to Berkeley in 2006, I was a postdoc at the Kurt Gödel Research Center for Mathematical Logic at the University of Vienna. In 2003 I received a Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University.
