Perverse sheaves seminar  —  Spring 2007

Organizers: Xinwen Zhu and Joel Kamnitzer.
E-mail:

Time and place: Mondays 4:00-5:00pm, 891 Evans

Subject matter: This will be a learning seminar focusing on Perverse sheaves and their applications to representation theory. Roughly we will cover chapter I, III, VI from Kiehl and Weissauer's book Weil conjectures, perverse sheaves and l'adic Fourier transform. Here is our detailed plan.

There are some notes of lectures by Beilinson on material related to our seminar. They are nice for their complex geometry analogs.

Here are some notes that Xinwen wrote on the proof of the Weil conjecture.
