Course Policies
Homework
There will be homework due every Monday and Friday in section, starting September 5, as indicated in lecture. Each homework assignment will be given a grade out of 5 points as follows:
- 3 randomly chosen problems will be graded for correctness (1 point each)
- 2 points given based on completeness of the remainder of the assignment
Late homework will not be accepted.
Quizzes
There will be a quiz each Wednesday in section, starting September 3. There will be no make-up quizzes.
Section Grade
Your section grade will be computed from your 20 highest homework scores and 10 highest quiz scores, in equal parts. This grade will count for 20% of your overall course grade. That is, your homework and quizzes will each count for 10% of your overall course grade.
