I am a fourth-year graduate student working with Prof. Bernd Sturmfels in the Berkeley math department. On October 5, 2007, I passed my qualifying exam. I graduated from Harvard with an AB in math in 2004 and I worked at Myriad Genetics from 2004-2006. I am interested algebraic geometry, computational biology, and any possible connections between them.
