I am a PhD student in the UC Berkeley Math Department and I am broadly interested in mathematical analysis. My research has focused on harmonic analysis with special emphasis on the role played by oscillatory integrals. I passed my qual on July 9th, 2008; here is my syllabus. I have been funded by FCT (Fundação Para a Ciência e a Tecnologia), Portugal. My advisor is Michael Christ. I graduated from Universidade do Porto in July 2006 with a B.S. in mathematics. Here is my CV and research statement.
