Research Interest
I am interested in Noncommutative and Poisson Geometry, Mathematical Physics. More specifically, I am working in quantization. My advisor is Prof Alan Weinstein.
This is the courses I take and time schedule.
I was born in Haiphong city, a town in the North of Vietnam. After a lovely childhood, I moved to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam to attend the Special highschool of Mathematics at the Hanoi University of Science. I earned my Bachelor degree at the Department of Mathematics, Mechanics and Informatics, Hanoi University of Sciences. However, in most of my undergraduate, I have studied, done research and enjoyed seminars at the Institute of Mathematics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. My undergraduate advisor is Professor Do Ngoc Diep.
After my graduation, I have worked as a researcher at the Department of Geometry and Topology, Vietnam Institute of Mathematics. I am doing my Ph.D. at the Department of Mathematics of the University of California at Berkeley since Fall 2005, under the supervision of Professor Alan Weinstein.
I passed my qualify exam in December, 2006 on Symplectic/Poisson Geometry, C*-algebras and Representation Theory of Lie Groups. This is my syllabus.
Wanna know how I look like? I am 5 feet and 8.5 inches, 158 pounds (174 cm and 72 kg). These are my pictures. I am still single.
These are something I have written. For fun
Deformation Quantization on K-Orbits and Unitary Representations of SL(2,R) (My undergraduate Thesis, in Vietnamese)
Deformation Quantization and Quantum Coadjoint Orbits of SL(2,R), (My undergraduate Thesis, in English)
Poisson Sigma Models and Quantization for Math 242
Morita Equivalence in C*-algebra, Poisson and Noncommutative Geometry, for Math 208.
I usually go to the website of some people. They are:
Prof. Alan Weinstein, Prof. Nguyen Tien Zung, Prof. Reshetikhin, Prof. Marc Rieffel, Prof. Teichner
Nguyen Xuan Long, Fei Han, Nathan and so many more but I cannot find out. If you like to appear here, please send me a email.

And the next is the wonderful note by Richard Hamming "You and your research". After reading this, I understand why someone can do research at a Nobel Prize level.
