White's continuing threat is to mate with his rook on the first rank, but parrying these threats just produces a prettier finish: 1 b4 threatens Rd5 and Rf5, so 1...Rc5+ 2 bc and now White threatens mate, so 2...a2 is forced. After 3 c6 the threat of Rd5 and Rf5 is renewed, and the only answer is 3...Bc7. But now 4 cb! and the trapped knight will be captured next move for mate. Oh, and by the way, every move was with the same pawn, which ran all the way up the board and delivered mate. Excelsior!
