• The best music site I know is the site of my favorite band--Steely Dan.
• Mapquest is one of those sites that makes you happy the web exists.
• Ditto for ESPN Sportszone.

Web stuff

• Yahoo! is the best-known search engine on the web.
• Someone who shall remain nameless Googled me the day after we met. This site shows up; that must make it a pretty powerful search engine.

Comic strips

• Dilbert is essential.
• Not to mention Calvin & Hobbes.

TV shows

• Ah, Robotech.
• My conversatory repertoire is sprinkled liberally with Simpsons references.
• To a lesser degree, the same goes for Seinfeld.
• Though it's basically formulaic drivel now, you can check out synopses of the good old days of Law & Order.
• Lately, I've been watching quite a bit of NYPD Blue. (Check out the NYPD Blue drinking game).

Math resources

• MathWorld. Check it out now. It's a fantastic resource.
• Springer supplies those indispensable yellow books.
• MAGMA is a wonderful mathematical programming tool which I'm using in my research.
• The On-line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences is really a phenomenal resource.

Chess stuff

• The Internet Chess Library might prove amusing.
• I should mention the official site of the US Chess Federation.

Miscellaneous

• CDNow is a good source for music and music reviews online.
• Lyrics to all sorts of songs.
• Homestar Runner. New stuff every Monday.
