Results: The midterm needed an easier question (I thought question 1 was easy!) to get a better spread among the lower scores. As it stands, half of the class got a 6/30 or 7/30, which means we didn't get much info there. In order to allow people to make up for this and to get a fair distribution of grades, I'll allow you to use your final grade to replace your lower midterm, if it helps you. The midterm will be (generously!) curved before this judgement is made, so people who did well will still benefit from having done well. A chart of the scores is here: Midterm 2 Score Chart
