Math 1A Discussion Sections 102 and 108


Some Info:

Office hours are Mondays 3-4 and Thursdays 9:30-10:30. My office is 852 Evans. Quizzes are every Friday in section. You must take the quiz in your own discussion section unless there are extenuating circumstances which you have discussed with me beforehand! "I slept in" does not constitute extenuating circumstances.

Homework Policy:

Starting the week of February 29th, the following homework policy is in effect:
1) I will select six problems per week out of those assigned by Professor Wilkening, and I will collect written solutions to these problems on Friday at the beginning of class before the quiz. Homework will count for extra credit towards the quizzes. No late homework will be accepted.
2) In addition, one of the two problems on each quiz will be taken directly from the homework. I will not tell you beforehand which problem I've chosen, but it will not be one of the six problems assigned in part (1).
